Returning Soldiers

According to the “Argus” the transport Orient arrived at Albany on Saturday morning with nine officers and 412 men of the Victorian Imperial Regiment; also two officers and 14 men of the Victorian Bushmen’s corps. Owing to there being several cases of measles and scarlet fever on board, the vessel was quarantined. |
